MANALI LADAKH MANALI TOUR
Duration : 11 Nights / 12 Days.
Destinations :  Manali - Jispa - Leh - Alchi  - Lamayuru - Ulletokop - Magnetic Hill - Leh - Khardungla - Nubra - Pangong - Tsomorori - Sarchu - Manali.

Detail Itinerary

Day 1 : In Manali
Morning half day tour visiting Hadimba Devi Temple, Manu Temple and Vashisht. Afternoon half day tour visiting Naggar Castle, Roerich Art Gallery (closed on mondays) and some other old temples in Naggar village. Evening free to explore Manali market. Overnight at hotel.

Day 2 : Manali to Sarchu (222 km 9-1 hrs)
Morning after breakfast drive to Sarchu over Rohtang Pass (398m) and Baralacha La (48m). On arrival check in camp. Rest of the day free. Overnight in tent.

Day 3 : Sarchu to Leh (25 kms 1 hrs)
Morning after breakfast check out from the camp and drive to Leh over Lachang La (565 m) and Tanglang La (536 m). On arrival check in at hotel. Overnight at hotel.

Day 4 : Leh - Lamayuru - Alchi - Uleytokpo
In the morning drive down the Indus Valley on a tour of the Lamayuru (approx. 130 kms.) circuit, famous for the dramatically located Lamayuru monastery and the adjoining 'Moonland' features. After sightseeing and lunch here, retrace the Leh route till Uleytokpo (60 kms.) and check into a fixed camp / resort for overnight stay.

Day 5 : Uleytokpo - Leh
After breakfast drive towards Leh, enroute visiting the 11th century Alchi Choskor, oldest surviving monastic heritage of Ladakh- a UNESCO listed heritage site. Thereafter, visit Sangam (confluence of Indus & Zanskar Rivers), Magnetic Point, Gurudwara Pathar Sahib, Kali Mata (Temple of Guardians in Spituk monastery) & Hall of Fame. Overnight in hotel.

Day 6 : Leh to Nubra via Khardungla Pass - Hunder (120 Km / 4 - 5 hrs)
After breakfast, drive to Nubra Valley, also known as Valley of flowers via Khardungla, the highest motorable road in the World, (18,380 ft).
On your arrival in Nubra Valley check in the hotel / camp. Lunch will be provided by hotel/camp at Nubra.
After enjoying lunch proceed to enjoy walk on the banks of Shayok river, you can also enjoy a ride on double humped camel on the Sand Dunes between Deskit & Hundur Village. Overnight stay in Hunder.

Diskit Monastery (Leh)
Diskit Monastery also known as Diskit Gompa or Diskit Gompa is the oldest and largest Buddhist monastery in the Nubra Valley of Ladakh, northern India.
Diskit monastery is situated in the Nubra valley of Ladakh. Also known as Diskit Gompa, the Buddhist center is one of the oldest and largest monasteries in Leh Ladakh. The Diskit monastery was founded by Changzem Tserab Zangpo in the 14th century, and at present stands atop a hill above the plains of Shayok river. The prime attraction of the Diskit monastery is 100 foot high Maitreya Buddha statue, which was inaugurated by the holy Dalai Lama. From the top of the Gompa, where the divine statue is settled, one can have a panoramic view of the Nubra valley.

Day 07 : Hunder - Nubra Valley to Pangong Lake via Shayok
After breakfast at hotel we drive to next destination pangong lake via Shyok and onto Tang Tse and Spangmik ( Pangong).
It's a short cut and it's a beautiful route. The road follows the Shyok river, and climbs up a mountain before finally descending into Shayok village. It took us less than an hour to reach Shayok, and we were delighted at the sight of the rather big village surrounded by barren mountains, the entire setting being very picturesque. Afternoon we reach at Pangong lake and enjoy your day at pangong lake. Overnight stay at camp.

Day 08: Pangong Lake - Hemis / Thiksey - Leh
After breakfast, leave Pangong / Tangtse and retrace the Leh route across Chang-la. Upon reaching Karu, drive across the Indus and visit the famous Hemis Monastery, biggest monastery of Ladakh. Later drive on to Leh, enroute visiting the picturesque Thiksey monastery. Stok Palace, 3Idiot School and after sightseeing check in Hotel and overnight in hotel.

Day 09 : Leh Tsomoriri Lake / 7-8 hrs
Morning after breakfast drive to Tsomoriri lake (14000 ft abov sea level) by passing Chumathang (Hot Spring) Along The Indus river. Tsomoriri Arr. 1600 Hrs. Afterwards take a walk around the Lake to enjoy the scenic beauty. O/N Korzok Village.

Day 10 : Tsomoriri Lake - Tsokar - Sarchu / Jispa (260 Kms / 10-11 hrs
Early Morning drive to Serchu passing Puga (Sulphur Mine), Tsokar Lake, Skyang chu Thang Skyangchu Thang (Biggest and Highest Plateau on Stretch of 42 Kms, Enjoy your pack lunch at Pang, post lunch leave for Sarchu by crossing Nakeela and Lchung La. Arrive Sarchu by evening. O/N Sarchu.

Day 11 : Sarchu - Manali 222 Kms / 9-10 hrs
After the breakfast drive for Manali, a beautiful scenic drive by crossing Baralacha La (4845m), lunch at Sissu village, later cross famous Rohtang Pass, 13050 ft. Arrive Manali by evening. Drop at Hotel / Manali Bus Stand. Journey ends here.

Day 12 :- Departure
After Breakfast check out hotel and drop to the Manali Bus Stand / Chandigarh
